Hi, My name is Genevieve, I'm 17 years old, and I am on a mission to get myself fit. I'm doing this because I’m sick of being the fat kid and depressed and failing all my classes and hating myself. I don’t want to be the ugly sister anymore, I want to be the pretty one, I want to be able to out run my brothers not sit on the side and watch, I don’t want to be that one fat kid in the dance recital, I want to be the one people stop to look at when she walks by, I wanna be able to wear heels be tall and freaking own it. I’m done with being sad and disappointed in myself, I’m ready to change. It's time to out run my brothers and look better then my sisters. Hey everyone, so I decided to share with you my workouts that I’m doing for my FemShep cosplay, as well as a playlist that I have for my workouts. They’re really simple, and I have more to add to this soon. This is what I’m doing to achieve a lean, fit and healthy/strong body for my FemShep cosplay this summer!
What I usually do:
Crunches during every loading screen of Skyrim/ME/AC3, or commercials if I’m watching TV, including a 30-day crunch challenge I’m doing with my boyfriend.
I do a 30 second plank every night before bed. It REALLY works your core! I have a bad back so if I have a sore back that day, I do extra squats or crunches instead.
I do about 20 squats every day.
I also use my elliptical machine as often as I can.
On top of this, I’m also eating a healthier diet, cutting out junk foods as much as I can but also treating myself once in a while. I love eating LOTS of fruits and veggies, and I’m also eating whole grain (NOT whole wheat!) breads, and lean meats.

Jan 2012 to your left and Jan 2013 to your right. 103lbs lost since March 2012. No weight loss surgery involved, I just watched what I ate and got off my ass.
SO, I’ve really gotten back into running at the gym lately.. there are so many options when it comes to runs (intervals, inclines, etc.). On my 10 mile “run” (ADD running = constantly changing the speed/incline along with some bouts of steep walk/climbs) today I decided to make my attempts at being a little speed demon and came to realize how easy it is to push your speed limits after coming down from an incline. Seriously, it feels like you’re flying! Running on a treadmill has honestly never been that entertaining, but when you’re constantly changing up the tempo, it’s actually fun! Probably would have gone even longer if it wasn’t for the 70-min time constraint (including cool down).. oh well, back at it tomorrow as always! :)
Anyway, thought I’d throw out a little example of this entertainment in the form of a 30-minute run (plus cool down!).. feel free to make your own altercations. Whether ya slow it down or speed it up, just have fun and run!
This was me in August during p90x. I hope I can get even better results the second time around, considering college forced Drew and I to stop. (No place to do it!) I could look at it and think, “Oh, my waist could come in a little bit more…” But I’m really proud of this. I think I look amazing. And I was. Because I was doing an intense hour plus of working out and eating very well. And you know what else? I was up to almost 50 pushups in a row at that point. Do my arms look bulky and manly? No. The lighting in this picture is odd… But I have a little v-line, oblique lines, and that line down the center. Not to mention the hip/butt line, there. I am satisfied with that. I don’t need to get a six-pack I can’t maintain with my lifestyle.
My friend wants to do a tough mudder. I’m just barely under “tough mudder” status, apparently, so I plan to work up to that level of fitness so I can join!

More like #transformationyear but I will put up and extra special one the day before the 27th!🎉 In the before pic I started at 175 Lbs, and the “after” (I’m still going and I’m not done!) I’m about 130Lbs. 💫It’s been a slow and steady weight loss/transformation 🌟but its all worth it, far more than I imagined!
